Privacy Policy
Last updated July 24, 2026
Bramblebook ("we", "us") publishes a new branching children's story every day. This policy explains what the Bramblebook iOS app and bramblebook.com do with information.
Information we collect
The app does not ask for your name, email, or contact details, and it has no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- Reading history & favorites are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us.
- Purchase email. When you buy a subscription on bramblebook.com, we store the email address you purchased with, solely to send your redemption code and let you manage your subscription.
- Subscription status. When you redeem your code, the app sends the code and a random per-install identifier to our server to verify that an active subscription exists. Neither identifies you personally.
- Advertising measurement. bramblebook.com (never the app) uses the Meta pixel so we can tell whether our ads work. After a purchase we share a hashed, unreadable version of the purchase email with Meta — never your payment details or anything from the app.
How payments work
Subscriptions are purchased on bramblebook.com and processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your payment details. You can manage or cancel your subscription at bramblebook.com/portal.
Children's privacy
Bramblebook is family-friendly and designed to be safe for children. Subscriptions are purchased by adults on the web; the app itself collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Data retention & deletion
Reading data lives on your device, so deleting the app removes it. To have your email and subscription records deleted, contact us below.
